Sant Kartar Singh Kamaliawale (S.K.S.K.) Educational Institute was started in 1986 under the name of Ajit Public School. Later on, the name of the school was changed to pay tribute to Sant Kartar Singh Ji Kamaliawale. Kamalia is a town in Pakistan. Sant ji was the son of Shriman Sant Sangat Singh Ji Maharaj who spread the message of love with God to many people during his lifetime. He also founded a school for girls in Kamalia. Following his father’s footsteps, Sant ji who had shifted to Patiala after partition contributed to the society and to the Sikh Panth by encouraging women’s education. He wanted the girls to be self-supporting and excel in life. When Smt. Ajit Kaur Ji met Sant Ji, she was highly impressed by his ideologies. With his blessings and encouragement, she started this school. Her dream was to impart education to students in a stress-free environment. She wanted her students to be all-around best and become honest, hardworking and good citizens of India. For this, she encouraged the teachers and students to take part in different co-curricular activities. Even after she left for heavenly abode, her husband S. Brinder Mohan Singh Ji is trying his best to keep her dream alive.

Principal's Message
My heart is filled with gratitude to God for this wonderful opportunity I have got to work in this School. We don’t forget that our foremost duty as a school is to challenge and channel students to set high expectations for themselves in academics and support them to achieve to the best extent of their abilities and their parents’ expectations.
Going beyond academic excellence, our commitment is to provide a harmonious and positive environment that develops all the aspects of an individual student.
Our students are encouraged to participate in social and cultural activities of the school so that after their formal education, they may emerge as self-disciplined, responsible and well-adjusted citizens, capable of playing an active and positive role in modern society. Students will use these tools long after they leave the school for success in personal and professional life because we are providing them life skills.

Co-ordinator's Message
Life is a journey and it is all about learning…
We try to mold the character and mental attitude of our children, instill basic principles of life in them and nurture their individual capabilities to the fullest. Dear students, it is my message to you all that the people of fine character live by their values. They are honest and are committed to truthfulness, word and deed. True character thus encompasses the capacity for self-discipline.
Character creates self-respect, which in turn leads to high self-esteem. Maturity is reflected in all aspects of character-the decision we make, the friends we choose and the responsibilities we accept. Always remember to uphold the dignity of people. Be always ready to give preference to others. What you are is God’s gift to you. What you become is your gift to God. Have something to live for. Bring out the best in you!
